Brief info
Like everyone in this industry I have a love and passion for animals that started as a child. I have always had a natural ability to connect with animals. This is a new adventure for me and I’m quickly finding this is where I was meant to be. I worked in Human Resources for 15 years and hit the well-known wall of burnout. I had the opportunity to make a change and I jumped on it. In 2018, I went to school to become a Certified Dog Trainer and was paired with an amazing Mentor who reinforced my calling and helped set the foundation for the K2 philosophies today.
My Zoo:
I have a pretty full house with my amazing husband, 2 kids, 2 cats (both rescues), 2 birds, my “foster fail” Kiwi who stole my heart, and I usually have another Speranza foster pup to add to our zoo. Kiwi is my inspiration for so many things, and now she is paying it forward and helping other dogs. Whether it is showing them how to do a cue, learning boundaries, or showing proper manners, she is such an amazing example and an invaluable asset to K2. My family shares the same love for animals, and when your furbaby is with us they are part of our family too.
